Hearts of Oak legend Amankwah Mireku questions gamers’ dedication amidst membership’s disappointing season

Former captain of Hearts of Oak Amankwah Mireku has solid doubt on the dedication and high quality of the present crop of gamers on the membership.

The CAF Champions League profitable captain’s remarks come amidst the membership’s disappointing efficiency within the ongoing 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians at the moment discover themselves in eleventh place on the league standings and faces the specter of relegation to Division One League.

Talking candidly on Max FM, Mireku absolved the membership’s board, together with Togbe Afede XIV, of any blame for the staff’s lackluster show.

He recommended the board’s efforts in adequately offering for the gamers and displaying unwavering religion in them.

“Mireku acknowledged the board’s position in financing transfers for really useful gamers. Togbe, Akambi, and the remainder of the administration staff have put their religion within the gamers.

“The accountability now lies with the gamers to reciprocate on the sphere. Nonetheless, their present degree of efficiency is disappointingly low,” Mireku said.
